6/6/2011! so fast! almost a month's gone!
my results for the final sem of my 4 yrs of study at NUS came.. didn't do as well as i hoped, but still there was improvement in my cap! (tho it my class of honours didn't change..haha)still, it is a great thing, cos i survived fyp! survived lab! and even did well for it. hah. and yes. i do.. feel quite good about it, altho.. i don't really noe if i should put my lab pple down on my thank-you list... not that i am going to mail them a greeting or sorts, but i do know my sis is the one who brought me on the right track at the last minute. and it was all thanks to her for helping me get back on the right direction. thanks sis. muacks!
anyways.. i have been doing some stuffs...
altho.. i have been a bit disappointed at some frens who went on a trip together, without inviting us along (no doubt i can understand that they are a gang of frens since much longer than we have known each other.. but sighs)
i have been exercising - rollerblading, badminton, cycling.. yesterday sis and i did the via ferreta. i have been sick and gotten well. i have met up with some frens for coffee.. i have walked around jp (like so many times).. i also read a bit, and most of the time being a couch potato, watch tv shows and online dramas, and movies. a lot of time bringing the car to repair.. before bro left for india, went with him and mum early in the morning to mustafa..
so let me pick a few of the movies that i have watched that are worth mentioning!
-Inception
it is a masterpiece, i would say. i love leonardo's performance, it was steady and strong.. and the story was.. gorgeous..? ya.. mind blowing. nice. i like how they inserted the old ken watnabe scene in front.
-Incite mill
my mum says she wants the red indian dolls.. haha. the story was tricky, good. i like the part which the old man switched the design of the guns. and that he survived.
-关云长
was disappointing. esp when my mum expressed great disappointment. haha. i dunno the entire story of him, but my mum does tt's why.
-倩女幽魂 (new version)
was kinda strange.. but both sis and i agreed that the theatrical experience might be better.
-a knight's tale
i watched it half the previous morning, and half this morning.. but after sis and i finished watching it.. we just sorta.. jumped around and cheered. haha. it was really great. and.. it touched me. i was really quite sad about heath ledger then.
dramas!
i am following a few dramas!
1. 醉后决定爱上你
which is nice.. okie kind of nice.. quite a refreshing match of 杨丞琳and 张孝全, altho quite sad that 王传一 seems to have been kinda kicked out of the drama le... sighs.
2. 我的完美男人
nvr fully follow thr out, but it is quite good at certain times.. but am proud of our local actor getting a big role in the drama. this is one of the show with one guy acting as a big fat guy at first..
3. Best love!!!
yup look at my 3 exclamation marks, you would noe how i feel abt this one. haha. yes, my current fav. gong hyo jin has always been one of my fav korean actress. and cha seung won's acting was superb. he was usually this cool guy shooting off bullets and stuff, and he is acting really well in this one - a mix of sentimental, cool, comical, with a little over-exaggeration - all in one 'wow' package. haah
4. Romance town
this is the other show with one guy acting as a fat guy at first.. unfortunately the story wrt the older generation in the show failed to attract me at all.. maybe the auntie part of me occupies my brain more at the certain times... haha
Unfortunately, i'm not following kang ji hwan and yoon eun hye's one.. cos.. i dun like kang ji hwan.. and the story as i've read, doesn't draw my attention.
5. Dong yi
previously i was watching the last episodes, and now that's it's only tv.. so i'm watching the front part now.. but then i always miss them.. so i follow thr reading i-weekly

1. jude deveraux's lavender morning and scent of jasmine
both quite ok... normal..
2. 怪老头和他的鬼部下
haven't finished yet.. but intending to finish. it has been quite a fun and exciting read.
3. Pride and Prejudice and Zombies
looks interesting, will start on it after i finish the chinese book..
another thing that i have been doing is to find job and wait for interviews.. hopefully i get nice job.. sighs..
i do hope still, that me and sis might get to travel or just get some really good rest..some time before.. she gets back to work.. and i.. to work.. sighs..
