the poster presentation is over!!!
wooohoo. and.. i have been slacking since then.
=S

cos i still have 3 more stuffs to complete, plus i have to get back to studying, cos i haven't been paying attention to my studies... sighs.
first of all, i must finish my thesis. and i'm still in the process of writing it.

GAMBATE~!

i have 2 other presentations coming, esp one stands for 50% gosh. such a large percentage.

=S anyways, poster was quite ok... i can say.. i wasn't too nervous during the presentation itself, but then it went past so quickly, after that i was so worried if i have even presented to both examiners. esp cos there were random pple who came to ask me random questions. O.O

but what was tiring was tt, right after the poster presentation, i had to go back to lab for lab meeting, then go back to school for project meeting, cos immediately the next morning we had to do another presentation.
by the time i reached home, bathed and settled down to do.. it was 1+am.. and then i started falling asleep until 3+am.. i gave up, and woke up only at 8am. i was like OH NO! presentation's at 10am, and i haven't finished up organizing my slides, typing my script, printing it out and cutnpaste on cards.
i was like AHHH! and was really going to become frantic.. and hysterical.. but somehow i settled down and finished calmly.. cos i guess.. i really had no time to do all tt. but luckily, it all went well =)

i guess i was so tired this week? cos i fell asleep a lot.. like on thurs after the presentation, i came home, slacked, watched tv, watched movie..then went to sleep for 2 hours until 7pm.. yet i was totally knocked out at 12am already.. and slept all the way until about 9am plus. yesterday i slacked most of the day away, and today, i napped in the afternoon for two hours. gosh. i guess i was really doing some serious catching up on my sleep haha..

i did have a hard time on monday.. was all anxious trying to get the poster settled, rushed all the way down to bugis to get it printed..only to realise that i was doing a lot of things wrongly, redid my poster till.. 5am+? and then slept for only about 3hs+.. finalised my poster again.. and then went all the way to bugis again to print. it was really tiring.. but it felt really quick ..really understood what it means by 台下十年功，台上十分钟.

so. i have really slacked a lot these 3 days. watched a total of... 5 movies. watched tv... dramas...

previously, before all the poster stuff came.. i watched Gnomeo and Juliet with sis at jp. it was really quite fun =)

seems like we've switched to watching animations.. (previously, i was very against watching animations at theatres, and thought that i enjoyed only the incredibles most)..but i'm proven wrong. we've really watched quite a lot of animations.. rented.. 'UP', 'How to train your dragon', on mioTV 'despicable me', 'Tangled' at the theatre...

we've watched the green hornet during cny.. it was kinda.. lame.. but it was still ok =)

i also watched 'Finding Mr Destiny'! - gong yoo's comeback from army =) i like the movie, it was kinda fun to watch.and good to see gong yoo back, and in good shape - as both physically and acting.

so these 3 days, been watching some other movies

1. Hello Ghost

it was kinda boring at the start, but it was amazing at the end.
took its own time to build up the climax.. luckily the climax is indeed good! =) no spoilers! so not going to say more, but it definitely is worth watching.

2. 新少林寺

it was kinda obvious more scenes were devoted to the main character, altho seeing other character developments would be enriching as well. but overall, it was quite good. the fighting scenes are note-worthy.

3. 九一神雕侠侣

some old movie with 刘德华，梅艳芳，郭富城，刘嘉玲, that my mum was watching on tv, and i joined in later. it's kinda lame and brainless. but it's entertainment la. so. haha.
but there was one very memorable scene - when andy lau yelled, "let me unleash my secret weapon to fight you!!" and he turned around with his hand holding onto a bottle - "BRANDS chicken essence!!!" LOL. it was hahaaa.. v..funny. in a sense. haha

4. House of wax (2005)

hahaha.. which i didn't watch completely, cos i was too scared to watch.. so i only watched the front and the back.. (they took too long to go to the house of wax tho..)

i think the most amazing thing is that the first ever house of wax, was in 1933.

coolios! the next most amazing thing is that the second remake in 1953, was the first ever 3D movie filmed. THREE DIMENSIONAL leh!! coolios.

it'll be really cool, if these films were shown on tv again.

5. Private eye

which my mum was watching today. and i joined in later..it was really kinda cool! solving a murder which leads to a whole conspiracy.. set in the days of 1910.. and there was this lady scientist inventing pepper spray, telescope.. haha

also, i've been following a few dramas.

1. Bones (season 6)

i like the not too heavy sciency stuffs (i think i mentioned bones in the previous post as well). but then haven't managed to see new episodes tho.. cos they took a break frm filming.. and online versions are only viewable in us and stuffs.. and they update mioTV like.. so long later ..sighs. so i just following through reading recaps

2. Chase (season 1)

watched 3 episodes. i like how they let the woman be the lead of the marshals and chase after criminals.. and give proper reasons for criminals to be criminals.

3. Point of Entry (catch-up on xin.msn)

home-made! i think it's good. i mean.. i haven't been paying much attention to singaporean dramas.. and only got attracted to few.. (cos disappointed with quite a number), 'The Pupil' was great i thought.. and i think point of entry is really quite good. thumbs up!

4. 神秘花园(not the korean one but singaporean one)

again, unexpectedly quite good.. been following on xin.msn. was attracted bcos it was talking some stuffs related to psychology and neurobio.. but it is quite gd, i must say.

5. 49 days.

just started looking at it, at dramabeans.. just following recaps (cos dun want to get attaced to dramas as yet) the storyline attracted me. i hope it gets better! (cos it's only filmed 3 episodes till now)

i like the concept and creativity.

indeed, how we are pushed into the real world, which seems to filled of danger.
on the bright side, we're with pple we love (even if you're not), and we must always try to face every day with courage and perseverence.
