TODAY isn't a very good day.
it's actually quite bad..
especially when i tried so hard to keep myself cheerful...

dun want to talk about it. those who were at the bio lect wld noe. i didn't really care so much. but i'm sort of feeling upset and hurt now.

:(
i want to cry.:(

anyway..

My mum and dad think that rugby should be 'banned'. i refer to the newspaper article on the straits times, yesterday's newspaper, the very first page on the sports section. two rugby boys are banned from rugby for violent conduct.

actually i think. well. let me list out what i feel about rugby first.

the Gd side:
1.according to my bro and hawyi. rugby teaches one self-discipline, perserverence and most importantly, 'brotherhood'- teamwork and team spirit.
(actually..don't most ccas and sports teach u all that?)
2.it helps keep pple in touch. like the rugby old boys who gather around after years to play touch rug? ya.
3.fitness and health. helps build ruggedness and strength in a person.(again..other sports also keep you in gd health)

the Bad side:
1.u spend too much time playing rugby you forget about your studies. a friend once told me that most of the pple retained are sports pple..(no offence pls)..BUT then. this seems quite a biased view right.it is not necessary true, and then no evidence to support. PLUS there are so many ppl who excel in studies and sports at the same time. like my brother, debater, tracker, rugger and.. future lawyer!hahaa..
2.the various injuries. so many ppl get seriously injured by playing rugby. my brother's leg..my cousin's arm..marilyn's friend. not to forget minor injuries also.
(yet again, other sports also have their own risks. actually everything has risks. you can break a finger while playing guitar even.)

hmm.. so like well. anyway. WHY am i talking about this?
well actually. i'm just upset today la. i just want to crap abt anything. so like i just crapped abt smth i dun even noe well of, and jus bcos my parents made a comment.

anyway. found smth from the net:http://www.chiropractic.com.sg/sports.html
The following is an acronym for the post-injury management of sprains and strains especially if no professional help is available: PRICE

P -Protect the injury from further damage
R -Rest the injury
I - Ice the injury to reduce swelling, bleeding, muscle spasm and pain
C -Compress the injury with a specialised support or elastic bandage to support the injured tissues
E - Elevate the injury if necessary when dealing with ankles and knees.

and this site gives a very complete list of sports injuries: http://www.sportsinjuryclinic.net/cybertherapist/injurylist.htm.

okies..i shall end here..
hopefully tomorrow will be a better day..

REFLECTIONS

I sit and cry thinking of all the regrets
How life seems to be always unfair.
I move on putting any dreams away
Hoping that I'll find them come some rainy day.
No matter how tired and weary
I will walk on.
